About Christianity
Who is God?
Three Persons in One God, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (all equal)
How is it similar to other religions?
Christianity worships one true God. This is similar to the Islam belief of only one God, the same God of Abraham. As a result of being baptized with the Holy Spirit, the proof is that you will do good works which is consistent with the view of Hinduism and Buddhism that one should do good works.
How is it different from other religions?
Jesus is the single way to God. Christianity believes that there is one true God but in the form of 3 persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit which are all equal. God is three persons but only one essence and one nature. God is like a triangle, it has 3 corners but it is only one triangle. Each corner is not the same as the whole triangle. God is like one to the third power or 1 x 1 x 1 = 1. God is not 1 + 1 + 1 = 3 which is tritheism or polytheism. God is love and to have love, there should be a lover (God the Father), loved one (God the son), and spirit of love (God the Holy Spirit). Another example is God is like mind, ideas, and words. There is unity but each is distinct.
What is the ultimate goal?
Faith in Jesus as Lord and Saviour + Acceptance of the Holy Spirit to guide you = Salvation and Good Works
What is the main belief and goal of the religion?
The 9th commandment is "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour" which is lying. A person lies at least once a day, so in a year, a person would have lied 365 times and in 10 years, lied 3,650 times. This means that a person would have violated the 9th commandment at least 3,650 times. There is no amount of good works that a man can do to pay for the constant mistakes and sins that he makes on a daily basis. Christianity believes that man cannot redeem himself and earn salvation and pay the price for his own sin. Only someone who is pure and sinless can pay the price for our sins and that is Jesus who is the only sinless man alive. The only way to salvation is accepting the gift from God the father that Jesus who is God the son died on the cross as payment for all our sins and that we need to accept the Holy Spirit, God in the 3rd person into our lives and obey God. Salvation is received and not earned. Good works of man is a result of accepting Jesus as God, Lord and Savior who died on the cross as payment for all our sins.
What are the wrong interpretations of the present day people?
Worshipping idols. Believing that one will be blessed through touching the statues of Jesus, Virgin Mary and the saints. Worshipping Mary and the Saints instead of praying through them. Forgetting to pray to God the Father, God the Son or Jesus and God the Holy Spirit equally, but instead praying through Mary and Saints only. Not reading the bible and having a relationship with God. Thinking of going to church every Sunday and praying the rosary everyday but doing things detestable to God from Monday to Saturday. Another mistake is thinking that money can redeem souls through indulgences.
What are the consequences if the religion you believe in is wrong?
If Islam is correct and Christianity is wrong, worshipping Jesus who is not God is considered wrong. Thru good works and faith in God's mercy, there is still a possible hope for entering one of the 7 heavens of Islam since Christianity also worships God the Father, the same God of Abraham, which could possibly be the same as Allah. If Hinduism or Buddhism is correct, Christians will still get a good reincarnation since Christians are expected to do good works based on the 10 commandments.

Jesus, during his last hours being crucified, shouted "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Critics say that if Jesus is the Son of God, why will God forsake him. What should you do?
All religions are very different from each other. Christianity believes Jesus is God while Islam does not. Hinduism believes in different faces of one God or possible multiple God while Buddhism does not talk about God at all. If you are serious about eternity or infinite never ending time after death, go search the truth as this is the biggest bet of your life. Then make a choice on what religion to believe in as all religions are different from each other. If you do not choose right, the end result is that you are giving up the hope or salvation after death and the truth is you only get one chance and choice in life.
