HOW CAN YOU BE SAVED?

Step 1: Receive the FREE gift from God

Facts The main difference between humans and animals is free will and we have the will to choose to accept the free gift from God which is Jesus Christ who died on the cross so all our sins will be forgiven.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who be lieve in him may not perish, but may have eternal life.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him: I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also died once for our sins, the Just One on behalf of the unjust, so that he might offer us to God, having died, certainly, in the flesh, but having been enlivened by the Spirit.

Observation God wants us to have a great and meaningful life, as stated by Jesus in John 10:10 Jesus said: The thief does not come, except so that he may steal and slaughter and destroy. I have come so that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.

Decide Open your heart and receive Jesus into your life. What is important is not the words that you say but what you feel inside your heart. Ac cept Jesus as your personal savior and redeemer and celebrate a spiritual birthday starting today!

To do Word does not matter but it is the heart that is important. Open your heart to God and accept God into your life and let God guide you in your life.

Step 2: Repent and ask for forgiveness & forgive others who sinned against you

Acts 2:38 Yet truly, Peter said to them: “Do penance; and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Facts Do not just ask forgiveness from God or from a priest, as it is easy to do so. It is more important to ask forgiveness from the person that you have sinned against.

Luke 19:8 But Zacchaeus, standing still, said to the Lord: Behold, Lord, one half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have cheated anyone in any matter, I will repay him four fold.

Facts Also you need to forgive others as God has forgiven all your sins and the price was His only Beloved Son. If God has forgiven all our sins, what right do we have not to forgive other people who sinned against you?

Matthew 18:21-22 Then Peter, drawing near to him, said: Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Even seven times? Jesus said to him: “I do not say to you, even seven times, but even seventy times seven times.

Decide We should follow the Lord’s prayer, Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sinned against us!

Step 3: Become a follower or disciple of Jesus by imitating Him & become close to God

1 Corinthians 11:1 Be imitators of me, as I also am of Christ.

To do To become close to God, we need to do the following:

- Pray daily. Do not just pray when you need something. Start the prayer by thanking God for all your blessings and Pray to God to give you wisdom and guidance. When was the last time you prayed just to thank God? God is not a genie or a wishing well.

- Read the Bible NIV or New International Ver sion to learn more about God, starting with the New Testament – John. The grandson of Pastor Peter Tan-chi, Elijah, finished reading the whole Bible when he was just 9 years old in one and a half years time and is continuously reading it again. If you believe that the Bible is the Word of God, have you read the Bible from end to end?

- Be part of a Bible based church that can strength en your faith. When was the last time you went to church to worship God?

Observation Be close to God by learning the Word of God through reading the Bible daily. The Bible gives you the meaning of life and answers every possible question we have about life. As the joke goes — Not everything can be answered by Google.

Inspiration Let all of these become a habit so you will turn away from SIN!

Revelation 3:20 Jesus said Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone will hear my voice and will open the door to me, I will enter to him, and I will dine with him, and he with me.

Decide Accept Jesus into your life now and become a new man in the image of Jesus Christ! Start to grow a personal and permanent relation ship with God.

Step 4: Be fruitful & bear everlasting fruit

John 15:16 Jesus said: You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you. And I have appointed you, so that you may go forth and bear fruit, and so that your fruit may last. Then whatever you have asked of the Father in my name, he shall give to you.

Luke 3:9 For even now the axe has been placed at the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree that does not produce good fruit shall be cut down and cast into the fire.

Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus said: Therefore, go forth and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have ever commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the consum mation of the age.

Inspiration Love others as you love yourself. If God opens your eyes then you need to help spread the Word and tell others about the Gift of Salvation to others.

Decide DEATH: Everybody has a fear of death and it is only the certain thing in the world. It is in our natural instinct to extend our life as much as we can because deep in our hearts, we yearn for eternal life, which is available in heaven.

To do Spread the word with your immediate relatives, friends and co-workers. It would be more fun to enjoy eternal life in heaven together with all your loved ones.
