Trust in God to provide personal insurance!
2 Corinthians 9:6 But I say this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. And whoever sows with blessings shall also reap from blessings:
Money As the saying goes, the more you give, the more you receive. Who do you think God will remember, the generous giver of gifts or the recipient of gifts?
Mark 12:41-44 And Jesus, sitting opposite the offertory box, considered the way in which the crowd cast coins into the offertory, and that many of the wealthy cast in a great deal. But when one poor widow had arrived, she put in two small coins, which is a quarter.
And calling together his disciples, he said to them: “Amen I say to you, that this poor widow has put in more than all those who contributed to the offertory. For they all gave from their abundance, yet truly, she gave from her scarcity, even all that she had, her entire living.
Inspiration Most mentioned in the bible is God is with you. If God is with us all the time, will He let us go hungry if we obey and follow him?
Matthew 6:26 Jesus said: Consider the birds of the air, how they neither sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of much greater value than they are?
Money Remember how Jesus fed 5000+ men and 4000+ men again with just a few loaves of bread and a few pieces of fishes.
Luke 16:13 No servant is able to serve two lords. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will cling to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Mammon is money that we have replaced God with.
Inspiration What God wants us is that our lives to be God centered and not world centered. The earthly realm is just temporary in nature so we should focus on the end goal, which is eternal life with God and Jesus Christ. We should always choose what pleases God and not what pleases man.
Money This does not mean that you will be come poor if you follow Jesus. On the contrary, the richest and most powerful people in the Bible were good in the eyes of God: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph the Dreamer, Job, David, Solomon, Jehoshaphat, Hezekiah.
Decide As God is all powerful, He is the one who gives us the ability to create wealth, just like the way He did it to the countless people as stated in the Bible. Have you ever seen a beggar in the street that became that way because he followed God?
Personal Testimony When I accepted God into my life, it made me become generous on others but thrifty on myself. I never had to worry about finances. When I found out that my eldest son was diagnosed with autism and it would cost us 4 times of what we were earning at that time to afford all the therapy and medication, the only thing I could do is cry, pray, and lift up my burdens to the Lord. We had doubts but we still continued with our tithes and through God’s grace, we are able to afford all the therapy and medications. We are at the end of our ropes and have tried every possible means to heal our son with Autism. If our eldest son gets well, it is beyond reasonable doubt that it is a miracle from God and not from man.
To do Trust in God that He will take care of you and give you the ability to be prosperous. Give all your worries and burdens to Him and you will find rest and peace.
