I. The Bible, is it fact or fiction? Is the Bible true? Is it accurate? Who wrote the Bible?

Facts The Bible is the only book in the world that is written by over 40 human authors, authors with very humble origins just like you and me, with 73 books over a span of 1,500 years. The consistency of the message written by the dif ferent people in different times just shows that it is not humanly possible to make this on their own. It is a book that no man would be able or could be able to write without God’s help. The human authors could not imagine that these 73 books would later on become the Bible that has over 3 BILLION copies printed. Consistently, all these 40 plus human authors, writing in different times, with no clue that their writings will form part of the Bible, testified that the Word came from God.

Global Evidences Over the years, scientific discoveries have been made to prove the accuracy of the historical data written in the Bible (Noah’s ark in Mt. Ararat, Moses parting of the RED Sea—“ancient Egyptian chariots found underwa ter in the Gulf of Aqaba). Great men in the Bible have given countless prophecies that happened a few hundred years after their time (Daniel gave the detailed and specific prophecy of the history of the 4 great world empires —“Babylon, Medo Persia, Greece and Rome). Over 2,000 years ago, Isaiah, through the divine inspiration from God, wrote that the earth is a circle (Isaiah 40:22). Isaiah, the prophet, stated this when the greatest scientist during that time believed that the earth was square and flat. It was only in 1519 that Fer dinand Magellan sailed around the world proving that the earth is round.

Inspiration From the time you are born to the time that you die, only one book gives us the meaning of life. It acts as the guide and light through our very short stay on earth (maximum of 100 years on earth compared to eternity in heaven). There is no other book in the world as comprehensive as the Bible that can answer any question that you might have.

Decide Which is a better scenario, that there is a loving God who loves us like his only son de spite our imperfection just like how our parents love us or how we love our own kids and in order for us to know him better, He gave us a Bible to learn more about Him, or that the Bible is just full of lies and fake?

Personal Testimony When I started reading the bible at age 13, I saw a lot of inconsistencies and stories that felt like children’s stories. When I asked questions I have about the Bible from people who are older than me, I felt that I knew more about the Bible than they did. This made my doubt grew and I just took it that the Bible is just a good book about the meaning of life writ ten by human authors, but not from God. Luck ily, 20 years after, I met people who answered a lot of my questions and I even got different books that made me appreciate the Bible better. It made me realize that the Bible is perfect; it is man who reads it who is not.
